How glad I am to no longer have any family involvement with the public schools of the county. I truly believe the School Board has lost its collective mind. They have taken actions which could be considered unconstitutional, illogical, discriminatory and racist in the matter of renaming schools. In the case of the now Agnor School, surely no man could better deserve recognition, although Guy Agnor was not exactly an educator. I knew him personally, a fellow Lexingtonian with whom I shared several teachers of the old school. As a taxpayer, I wish I could bring suit against this group for wasting my money.
