Western won a decisive victory with a score of 3-0 over Albemarle on Thursday, October 27. That night was Senior Night, where the six graduating seniors (pictured) were recognized for their leadership on the team. These girls have big plans after graduation. Hannah hopes to attend Virginia Tech or UNCW to study kinesiology, Ella hopes to attend Virginia Tech or the University of Virginia to study pre-med, Caroline is a member of the National Honors Society and plans to attend college following graduation, Juliana has plans to attend the University of Virginia to play lacrosse and study kinesiology, Natalie hopes to major in biology at Virginia Tech and to play volleyball on their club team, and Amelia will play volleyball at Liberty University after her senior year.
The team was 21-5-0 for the season as they entered the regional tournament October 31, falling to Rustburg 1-3.
