At the Barn: Printmaker Emily Wool

As part of the Barn Swallow’s Artist of the Month series, we invite you to join Emily Wool, local printmaker, as she presents her newest works. Emily will be doing a demo of how she creates her totes, tea towels, hot pads, and more.

In discussing her work, Emily says, “I first began to see patterns in nature after an eye-opening trip to the Adirondacks. From there I fell into the rhythm of walking, noticing, sketching, carving, and printing. I have enjoyed the process every day thereafter, reminding me that we all see things from different perspectives.
