Congratulations to the Crozet Gazette on its recent Virginia Press Association awards. As a Crozet resident, I am truly grateful for the existence of the Crozet Gazette and feel that we are so blessed to be living in a community served by a FREE publication that devotes such generous space to share a wide array of community news and special interest stories. I was reminded of this when reading the June issue. The quality and breadth of the content also lend significant value to advertisers.
I am a graphic designer and my first three jobs were with newspapers: the High Point Enterprise, the Fauquier Citizen and The Free Lance-Star, so I do hold a special place in my heart for newspapers. Among the many wonderful and unique aspects of living in Crozet, we must include the Crozet Gazette and recognize how fortunate we are to be able to turn to it each month to become more educated and enlightened about our neighbors and the area in which we live.
