Holiday Market 2023 Transforms Downtown Crozet

Art work, baked goods, jewelry, wine, flowers and hundreds of products lovingly made by hand will be sold to holiday shoppers at the second annual Crozet Holiday Market Crawl. More than 50 small vendors—many without a shop of their own—will set up in ten different locations in downtown Crozet, locations of businesses that will sell their own products as well as hosting the portable shops. The event is sponsored by Bluebird & Co. and the Crozet Board of Trade.

The purpose, said organizers Flannery Buchanan and Chelsea Powers, is to bring people to Crozet, thereby supporting the businesses already here as well as introducing small home businesses to potential buyers.

Caroline Just, with some friends and family members, will be on hand at Bluebird & Co. to wrap purchases from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no charge for the service, but she is accepting donations for Loaves and Fishes, a Charlottesville non-profit.

Shoppers can start at any location. Organizers ask people to park their cars and walk from place to place, and to patronize permanent Crozet businesses as well as the vendors. There will be several places along the way where lunch will be available, including Bar Botanical in Piedmont Place, usually not open at lunch time.
