Fred Beckel Willard, III, unofficial Mayor of Crozet and proud father of Elin Willard, embarked on his heavenly adventures with brothers Marcus and Jacob Clark on June 15, 2023.

He was born at Darnell Army Hospital in Fort Hood Texas on Nov 15, 1968.
Fred attended Crozet Elementary School, Henley Middle School, graduated from Western Albemarle High School and attended East Carolina University.
Fred was a member of the Volvo team with Liza Borches for almost 20 years and had recently joined forces with Rod Phillips of ReMax. He loved hitting golf balls off the top of the ridge never to be found again.
Fred is survived by his daughter Elin Willard, former wife Brooke Dodd, mother Elaine Travis Clark, father Fred B. Willard, Jr. (Katherine), sister Rebekah Leah Clark (Josh), sister Carter Willard, and brother Reed Willard. There are a multitude of extended family and friends who will miss Fred at the next ball game, cookout, applebutter stirring, or gathering at Fardowners, though he will forever be present in our hearts and memories.
A celebration of his life will be held at King Family Vineyard on Tuesday, July 25 from 2-4. Wear your best Tie dye!
