Crozet Pool Dome Project Needs Your Help!
Imagine swimming laps in the middle of February or enjoying water aerobics all winter long without having to drive into Charlottesville! Imagine how many more meets the Gator swim team would win if they could practice more months of the year. This dream is shared by many in the Crozet community and is well on its way to becoming a reality! The Crozet Park Aquatic and Recreation Center pool dome project has raised 2/3 of its $400,000 goal and plans to install the dome by fall of 2011. The air-supported dome would be retracted in the summer and erected in the winter to keep out the snow and cold. And did you know that our beloved Crozet Park is an independent non-profit that is supported only by community donations? So this dream will only come true with your help!
